The LG 85QNED92AUA combines a 85-inch class screen, 4K resolution and webOS 25 in one TV. This model uses the Alpha 8 AI Processor 4K Gen2 and has a native refresh rate of 120Hz. Its 4 HDMI inputs let you connect external sources, while built-in smart features provide another way to watch. Its Mini LED backlight works with an LCD panel to control light across the screen.
Screen technology and picture detail
Mini LED backlighting uses small light sources behind the LCD panel. This model combines that backlight with Dynamic QNED Color Pro to present color and contrast in the picture. An HDR film or game must be supplied in a compatible format to use its HDR information. Filmmaker Mode is included for a film-focused presentation. The native panel refresh rate is 120Hz. Variable refresh rate is supported up to 144Hz with a compatible source. Game Optimizer brings game-related settings together, and Auto Low Latency Mode can switch to a low-latency setting when supported by the connected source. Supported game features also include AMD FreeSync compatibility. The console or computer, selected input mode and cable must support the signal you want to use. A game's rendered frame rate and the TV's native panel refresh rate are separate specifications, so a high-refresh display does not make every game run at the same speed.
Smart TV and supported viewing
webOS 25 is built in, with access to compatible TV apps through LG's smart platform. It supports Google Cast and Apple AirPlay for compatible casting or screen sharing. LG Channels is available for supported streamed programming. App selection, available programs and connected services depend on the region and service provider. Internet access, an LG account and separate service subscriptions may be required.
